What is Coaching? The purpose of coaching is to assist, support and empower a person, organisation or team to reach their full potential and improve their performance. It is a professional process that facilitates change, a platform to raise awareness, make decisions and modify behaviour. It is about taking stock, looking inside and outside; developing insight and learning to value, trust and develop both internal resources and external possibilities.
It concentrates primarily on the present and the future, rather than the past. How does Coaching work? Coaching works as a partnership, through regular sessions, in person or over the telephone. At each session you will be assisted personally and professionally to address issues, get clarity around values and goals, align thoughts, words and actions, identify options and areas most important to you. You will be supported as action plans are developed and implementation gradually executed.
